Phenomenology of a Class of Neutrino Mass Matrices

Abstract

In a typical model, the heavy Majorana neutral lepton NM participates in some hypothetical feeble interaction beyond the familiar weak interaction. However, it does not participate in the weak interaction itself. For this reason, it (and any other neutrino which is free of normal weak interactions) is sometimes referred to as a sterile neutrino.
