| dc.description.abstract | An 11 degrees-of-freedom multi-body vibratory sitting model with backrest of a human being is considered for vertical as well as horizontal mode of vibrations. Dimensional and Inertial properties of human body are determined from primary inputs of anthropometric data available of 50th percentile Indian male. Mathematical analysis for evaluating the horizontal and vertical stiffness is developed, assuming the shape of all the segments as truncated ellipsoid. Equations of motion are formulated from different segment combinations of model. Using MATLAB, Eigen values and Eigen vectors of different body segments have been computed and found in close agreement with published literature. | en |
