| dc.description.abstract | With the proliferation of Internet, various problems like bandwidth bottleneck, shortage of IP addresses, unauthorized access, unsupervised access etc. have crept in. This work aims at development of a Filtering Proxy Server to address above mentioned problems. It involves the study of various features like killing GIF/JPEG images, removal of Cookie headers etc. In addition to that, various security aspects associated with HTTP specifications like changing User-Agent header to any Web browser, removal of From and Referer header fields have also been addressed. | en |
