dc.description.abstractNanocrystallineYSZ p owd e r wa s p r e p a r e d b y a s imp l e c o n s ump t i o n me t h o d z i r c o n i um ox chloride octahydrate Zro.Cl2.8H2O adding the o.5 Yttria Mixed in the ratio100:16.Citric acid (10g). Processing involved. The mixing of solution, heating, calcinations grinding process. the calcinations of YSZ Powder was confirmed for 3h. The scanning electron microscopic SEM observation is 1μm average particle size .Ph of the complexed solution was adjusted to 8.0 to 8.5 by adding liquor ammonia. After combustion reactions black foam mass was obtained .the crystallizations behavior of powder was analyzed by thermal analysis and XRD techniques. Based on the XRD analysis, the obtained powder was finally calcined at 800 ºC to obtained YSZ powder.en
