| dc.description.abstract | Cancer is the second leading cause of death among women, which is caused due to uncontrollable division of cells. Tamoxifen has been used in the treatment of breast cancer. Tamoxifen is a biologically active moiety against several cancer cell lines. Compounds such as (2-methyl-1H-benzo[d]imidazol-6-yl)(phenyl)methanone, (4-(2- bromoethoxy)phenyl)(phenyl)methanone and 2-Methyl-6-(2-methyl-1H-benzo[d] imidazole-5-yl)(phenyl)methylene)hydrazono)(phenyl)methyl)-1H-benzo[d]imidaz-ole were synthesised in good yields and will be evaulated for Anticancer activity. | en_US |
