The present work attempts to quantify some of the parameters which normally effect the behaviour of anchor plates embedded in clay deposit. Under the controlled laboratory conditions, different loading sequences were applied into the anchor plates, with the clay deposit being at liquid limit so as to represent the worst phase of the clay property. Being at liquid limit clay is considered to have negligible shear strength. The displacements at different times for loading have been observed and investigation has been carried out to represent this behaviour parameters of the model, one can straight away know the time displacement behavoiur of the anchor plate embedded in clay at liquid limit.en_US
