The significance of structural and bulk properties is investigated in the fusion dynamics of 16O+72,76Ge→ 88,92Zr reactions at energies across the Coulomb barrier. For the purpose, the role of distinct Skyrme interactions in conjunction with different nuclear charge radii and surface diffuseness parameter is examined on the interaction potential and excitation functions of the considered reactions. The impact of neutron excess in the sub barrier region is analysed for 88,92Zr Compound systems formed via 16O induced reactions. The cross sections calculated in the framework of Wong formula are compared with experimental data.en_US
