dc.description.abstractAlpha Nickel Hydroxide nanoparticles are synthesized by a chemical route. The sample is characterized by x-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis and vibrating sample magnetometer. The average crystallite size is found to be about 6 nm. The prepared nanoparticles of α-Ni(OH)2 are found to be paramagnetic at room temperature.en
