dc.description.abstractThe present work in this dissertation deals with a wide range of mass-asymmetric nu- clear reactions (28;30Si, 36S, 40Ca, 48Ti+58Ni, and 58Ni+90Zr, 92Mo, 94Zr and 100Mo) using three-parameter Fermi (3pF) density function within the Skyrme Energy Density For- malism (SEDF). The results are analysed in terms of fusion barrier characteristics and fusion cross-sections, using di erent sets of Skyrme forces i.e. SkTI, MSL0, GSkI and SSk.en_US
