Abstract
The Lead free, Barium Strontium Titanate Ba0.7Sr0.3TiO3 has been synthesized by
Sol-Gel method. The synthesized sample has been subjected to the structural,
morphological studies. The formation of the compound has been confirmed by XRay
diffraction (XRD) analysis. The X-Ray Diffraction study confirmed that
Ba0.7Sr0.3TiO3 has tetragonal phase with crystalline size 30.53nm. The SEM studies
have shown the good morphological structure and the average grain size of
Ba0.7Sr0.3TiO3 has been found to be 1.9 μm. The polymer ceramic composites have
prepared using Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) as polymer matrix and
Ba0.7Sr0.3TiO3 (BST) as ceramics powder by Solution Casting method. The surface
morphology and thermal study of the BST/PVDF composites with different
loading percentage have been done by the SEM and DSC.
