The purpose of this thesis is to measure energy resolution, total efficiency and photo peak efficiency (full energy peak efficiency) of the 2''×2''flat type NaI(Tl) with the gamma ray energies ranging from 122 to 1132 keV. In this work, five different gamma ray sources 22Na, 57Co, 60Co, 137Cs and 133Ba were placed at four different distances to observe effect of distance between source and detector on the energy resolution, total efficiency and photo peak efficiency.en_US
