Hybrids of imidazo[1,2-a] pyrazine-benzimidazole, benzimidazole-naphthalimide, naphthalimide-phenanthro[9,10-d]imidazole, phenanthro[9,10-d]imidazole-various heterocyclic moieties and naphthalimide-benzothiazole-indole were synthesized in moderate to good yield. All synthesized compounds were characterized by 1H, 13C NMR and Mass spectrometry. Synthesized compounds have been evaluated against human cancer cell lines. Interaction with ct-DNA and serum albumin (BSA/HSA) were evaluated using spectroscopy techniques. The binding interactions of compounds with DNA were further confirmed through docking studies.
