Abstract: In this thesis, load-flow technique for solving radial distribution networks by reducing data preparation using sequential numbering scheme has been proposed. The proposed method needs only the source node and number of total node of main feeder, lateral(s) and sub lateral(s) only and does not need equivalent network. The simple algebraic equations have been considered. Effectiveness of the loadflow has been tested by two examples (33node and 69node radial distribution networks) with constant power (CP), constant current (CI), constant impedance (CZ), composite and exponential load modelling for each of these examples. The superiority of the proposed method has been compared with the other methods available in literature.
