dc.description.abstractIn the present scenario the lack of business process integration is considered as the nemesis to effective performance and progressive growth. Most industries lack mutual responsiveness in their intra-organizational activities. This primarily germinates from the fact that the business processes within the organization are not aligned and that they are not balanced. Another glaring lacuna is the lack of cohesiveness amongst those involved in team activity. This merits an investigation into the determinants of process integration so as to arrive at an optimal mix of the determinants influencing process performance. The main objective of this study is to assess the impact of Business Process Integration on organizational performance in a manufacturing industry by using three determinants (Cohesion, Alignment and Balance) of BPI (Business Process Integration). The study has validated the merits in the requirement of these determinants among processes to increased organizational effectiveness. The study has also validated the optimal mix of these determinants, while using in combination. This case study has been conducted in a manufacturing industry, and a conceptual model has been proposed and validated to authenticate its use in industry. This work has opened new frontiers of research in other areas like service sector, banking sector, etc.en
