The functions which the software performs basically exhibits the needs and requirements of the user. Thus emphasis on the software's well being is crucial. Software building involves a lot of factors like functionality, ease of use, security, methods involved etc. This thesis work exhibit the various Software countermeasures to safeguard the applications and systems against various forms of buffer overflow.
